DRIVING SIMULATORS
Green Dino specialises in the development of driving simulators. Various standard types can be supplied. It is also possible to have Green Dino produce a tailor-made driving simulator. All driving simulators make use of the unique simulation software developed in-house by Green Dino. A unique feature of our driving simulators is the automated instruction and evaluation based on driving procedures. The online student monitoring system provides immediate insight into the student’s relative learning pace and driving style. Other unique features include the registration and evaluation of the student’s viewing behaviour and the Grip-of-Slip circuit.
Most driving simulators are used for the Class B Driving licence Training Programme. The Netherlands is a global leader in this field with more than 100 driving simulators used for driver training. The majority of these were supplied by Green Dino. In addition, the driving simulators are used for driving style testing and training. Research conducted by TU Delft demonstrates that the driver’s training, as well as the driving style test are reliable. Students learn and succeed faster. The driving style test score is a measure of the probability of causing accidents.
Green Dino develops driving simulators for various types of vehicles. The driving simulators are also used for research purposes.
